Hao Ren is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive and new energy industries. Currently serving as the Group Senior VP & Global COO at NWTN (NASDAQ) since January 2024, he has a proven track record of leadership and innovation. ​ Previously, he co-founded and managed Shanghai Best Technology Co., focusing on energy storage and charging solutions. ​ As President/CEO of Youlion Battery Co., Ltd., he spearheaded the startup of lithium-ion batteries. ​ His career also includes senior advisory roles at CITIC PE and NIO, and significant leadership positions at Fiat-Chrysler Automotive and IBM. ​ Hao Ren began his career at General Motors, where he held various technical and managerial roles over 16 years. ​ He holds a Diploma in Management from China Europe International Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics. ​
